Out of the 34 injured people, 24 are reported to have minor injuries.
The bus left Los Angeles late Wednesday, and had a stop at Fresno and was headed for its next stop at Madera, on its way to Sacramento.
A High way patrol spokesman told reporters “We’re still trying to piece everything together”. Authorities believe that at least one of the people who died was a person in the overturned SUV.
Relatives of all the passengers were worried. There were sighs of relief when they received calls from the accident victims.
The uninjured passengers were carried by a relief bus to the Sacramento Grey hound bus station at about 7:30 a.m.
The relief bus delivered a few of the passengers who were not injured to the downtown Sacramento Greyhound bus station at around 7:30 a.m.
Out of the 47 passengers on the bus, six are dead. The dead consisted of 4 men and two women. Amid the men who died, was the bus driver too.
